tUkU beY and bUdi come together to celebrate the joy of music - past, present and future. tUkU’s vocal soundscapes are deeply rooted in the lineage of blues storytelling, directly inherited from her family legacy - Andy & the Bey Sisters, the late Andy Bey, and Canada’s First Lady of the Blues, Salome Bey. Together beY and bUdi journey through both classic vocal standards and vocal renderings of well-known instrumental compositions. They share original compositions and experiment with musical adaptations of literary text. beY and bUdi’s collaborative efforts are organically symbiotic as they create a melodic landscape that is sonically both poetic and intuitive.
