Lead to Ink is a live poetry and music showcase exploring the stories that shape us and the changes that transform us.

Inspired by the idea that healing begins when we give our experiences a voice, Lead to Ink brings together poets, musicians, storytellers, and creatives for an evening of honest expression and meaningful connection.

The name reflects a journey. Just as pencil lead leaves the first mark on a blank page before becoming something permanent in ink, every story begins as a thought, a feeling, or a moment of reflection. Through poetry, music, and performance, artists take the raw materials of life and turn them into something beautiful, lasting, and transformative.

This showcase is the culmination of our Healing Through Change workshop, where participants spend two weeks developing creative responses to personal prompts exploring growth, identity, healing, and self-discovery. Alongside these featured performances, audiences will experience original works from local poets and musicians whose art speaks to the power of resilience, vulnerability, and human connection.

Whether you’re coming to perform, listen, reflect, or be inspired, Lead to Ink is a space where stories become community and creativity becomes a pathway to healing.
